Gold medals at the Reeves Trophy Tournament for our U14's
On Sunday 19th October, a full squad of thirteen Sedgefield players travelled to Salt Ayre Leisure Centre, Lancaster to compete in the Reeves Memorial Tournament. Aimed at younger players born 2011 and younger, the event is designed to offer experience and game play for younger and developing players.
We played four matches, with teams from Lancaster and Blackpool in the same age group.
We won all four of our matches and were able to offer some valuable pool time to younger players and those developing their game, as well as those who had played here previously.
It was a valuable learning curve for all involved and the friendly reception and organisation, made it all the more enjoyable. The coaches for the day were Paul Worthington and Sarah Gregory, while Elaine Stanton was Team Manager.
The full team consisted of Dylan (GK), Fynn, Harry, India, Kara, AJ, Arwen, Jasper, Ivor, Elowen, Ted (GK), Leo & Joseph.
