Congratulations to Ben Alderson who represented and vice captained GB U19's at the European Qualifiers held in Trebinje, Bosnia in March.
GB finished 4th in Group A after playing France, Czech Republic, Bosnia & Herzegovina & Finland.
Ben managed to finish the competition on 6 goals for GB, and this is what he had to say about the experience.
“Although the tournament's outcome wasn't as we hoped, the experience was nothing short of amazing. Playing against France, whose team comprised mostly semi-pro and professional players, was a true test of skill and determination. Despite the odds, I managed to score 2 goals against them, which was a personal victory for me.
The atmosphere, the camaraderie with my teammates, and the thrill of competing at such a high level made it an unforgettable journey. I'm immensely grateful for Sedgefield Water Polo Clubs unwavering support throughout this endeavor.”
