Sedgefield representation at the Talent Games
We would like to congratulate 8 of our athletes who were selected to attend the England Water Polo Talent Games held at the Alan Higgs Centre, Coventry over the weekend of 27th and 28th April.
Harry, Dylan, Kara and Indie represented the North East U14’s, Aston represented the North West U16’s and Kyle, Thomas and Gregor represented the North East U16’s.
This is an excellent opportunity for a small club to have a good representation at national level.
This event allowed our athletes to compete against those from other talent centres in a round robin format tournament – gaining valuable high level competitive game play - whilst also undertaking workshops on nutrition and balancing school work with sporting commitments. Parents were also led through a safeguarding workshop.
