Gold at Men;'s Northern League

Our newly formed men’s squad played in The Northern League Tournament at Maltby on Saturday 25th April. We had some of our younger members join the squad, as well as some older & more experienced players, who all did us so proud.

The new squad blended well & it was great to see everyone working together & cheering each other on! 

We had some challenging matches, which went to the wire, especially our final game against Rotherham, which was end to end, followed by a tense wait to confirn we had won the tournament on goal difference (by 13 goals)

Well done to the coaching team of Gabor, Sean & TM Sarah, table officials (Imelda & Kate) & all parents, as well as the squad for an amazing result for the first time playing together.

We now carry on building & working hard towards the new season starting in September & the challenges Div 2 will bring.
