19-22 Win against Leeds for our Men's team

Sedgefield Mens team travelled to the Armley Centre, Leeds for their first Mens Division 1 Wakefield & District League match of 2023. The team ranged in age from 13-24 years, with Aston (age 13) making his debut in goal since the regular goalkeeper was unavailable to play.  The match was fast paced and very closely contested, with the lead changing frequently throughout the game. John Pratt was the team’s top goalscorer with a fantastic 9 goals!  In the end, Sedgefield’s fitness and teamwork helped them to a very well deserved 22-19 win.
