LABE Cup for Thomas

Thomas Forrest, 14,has recently returned from playing in The U15’s Labe Cup, in Decin, Czech Republic from 20-23 June. The team was the only club from the UK who participated in this event, therefore allowing the young players to gain valuable experience at international level.  The team named themselves as the ‘GB Sharks’ and was made up of players from Coventry, Solihull and Sheffield; many of these players are part of the England Talent Centres and train together fortnightly at various locations across the country.

Thomas was selected as team captain and played against teams from Germany, Denmark, Czech Republic and Slovakia. He was the joint second highest goal scorer for the whole tournament, scoring a fantastic 16 goals for the team.
