U19 narrowly miss out on NAGS qualifications

A weekend filled with highs and lows, highlighting our resilience even when results didn’t go our way.

Saturday started slowly against Coventry, where missed chances inevitably cost us the game. We responded well to beat Croydon convincingly, before battling hard against a physical Exeter side and finishing the day with one win and two narrow losses.

Sunday saw a massive improvement in our overall performance. We pushed North London all the way, with the scoreline not reflecting how close the game really was. Credit to the team for demonstrating that our strength isn’t just individual performance, it is our team unity. We then narrowly lost by one goal to top of the table Caledonia, requiring a last-minute goal to separate us after a huge team effort throughout.
